Wine lovers, start your iPads.
Caffe Aldo Lamberti in Cherry Hill has taken a technological leap forward, introducing the region’s first wireless wine list.
According to the restaurant, the Tiare Technology Wireless WineList System application will allow restaurant patrons to view and order wines using their iPad tablets.
“Guests can use the tablets to browse the wine list, discovering the breadth of wines offered. They can also quickly sort the wines to display by region, varietal, price range or other categories, or click to search the list and pinpoint a specific selection.”
The app includes daily wine offerings, tasting notes, vintage information, as well as background on each winery and region. Photos, wine labels and other information are also displayed.
“We encourage our guests to come in and discover something new from our list of over 800 wines,” said Aldo Lamberti, owner, Caffe Aldo Lamberti, located on Route 70 East, across from Garden State Park.
So, in addition to dreaming weeks ahead of time about which app and dessert you plan to order, you can get a running start on which wine you’d most like to accompany it.
