Leading International Casino and Resort Brand Launches the VIPSeat™ Restaurant and Wireless WineList™ Systems by Tiare Technology Using Apple iPad Tablets
CHERRY HILL, New Jersey – January 15, 2013 – Tiare Technology announced today that it has been selected by MGM Hospitality to install its suite of mobile ordering solutions at its newest international resort and casino development, MGM Grand Ho Tram Beach, in Vietnam. Using patented technology, Tiare’s solutions will allow guests and staff to place orders for food, beverages, merchandise and spa services directly from Apple iPad tablets at venues throughout the property, including the resort’s restaurants and bars, pool, beach, spa and casino floor.
Tiare will install its VIPSeat Restaurant solution, which allows restaurant diners to easily view and place orders for food, wine and cocktails directly from their table using the iPad devices and Tiare’s proprietary software. Tiare’s intelliChaise personal ordering system will enable guests relaxing by the pool or beach to place orders themselves or via staff members directly from mobile devices. Orders will be transmitted directly to the property’s point of sale system for maximum efficiency – eliminating duplicate input and significantly improving speed of service for the guest. Servers will also use mobile devices on the casino gaming floor to place food and beverage orders conveniently and personally for the guest.
Tiare’s Wireless WineList application will also be deployed in several of the resort’s fine dining restaurants, allowing guests to use the tablets to browse the wine list and view tasting notes, vintage, region and grape varietals, wine labels and other information to enhance their experience.
Tiare’s integrated systems display extensive information about the venue’s menu items including descriptions of the cuisine, photos, food and beverage pairings, and other details. The systems will be highly customized for the MGM Grand brand, as well as for the design and operations of each outlet on the Ho Tram Beach property.
“Tiare’s decade of experience in mobile ordering technology allows the company to provide not only an effective technical product, but also one that fulfills the business needs of restaurant and resort management,” said Jeffrey Krevitt, President of Tiare Technology. “MGM is a brand that places a high value on anticipating and exceeding guest expectations. We are excited and honored to be selected by MGM Hospitality to help achieve this goal.”
Tiare’s ordering solutions provide the ability to update information in real time, allowing for more efficient management of menus and helping ensure a guest is never disappointed by viewing a choice that’s out of stock.
The systems are also an eco-friendly solution that helps reduce waste. “Eliminating the printing and distribution costs of a traditional menu while promoting an environmentally conscious platform to our customers is part of Tiare’s commitment to a green business model,” says Krevitt.
Planned for opening in mid-2013, the MGM Grand Ho Tram Beach property will include in its first phase 541 five-star rooms, gaming facilities, meeting and convention space, ten bars and restaurants, a spa, teen’s and children’s areas, three swimming pools and luxury retail shops. The developers Asian Coast Development Limited also announced in October 2012 that it had broken ground on the second phase of MGM Grand Ho Tram Beach, which will include a second tower of 559 rooms and additional leisure facilities. The Bluffs – the MGM Grand Ho Tram Beach’s Greg Norman designed championship golf course – is under construction.
The Ho Tram Beach development is two hours away from Vietnam’s largest metropolis, Ho Chi Minh City, and is set on a 2.2 kilometer beach surrounded by protected forest.
